Here are some of our activities during January and February:

- 23.1. Fetish Party in Showtime. Let’s meet in Bar Alvar @ 19

- 30.1. Bord game evening in Tuseta office at 17

- 12.-14.2. Possible cottage weekend in Paimio

- 18.2. The Finnish Navy Band plays in Sigyn Hall @ 19

- At the end of the February we will have our dinner in Le Pork

We will have a picnic and swimming on wednesday 22.7 in Ruissalo. With some luck we might see some ships arriving. On thursday there is a party on Klubi and on friday 24th July we might again attend the night swimming event at Samppalinna open air pool. During the weekend we are likely to stroll around the riverbanks and watch the ships. More detail will be available at summers meetings. Tall ships race -site.

On thursday 21.5 we will meet in the sports park (urheilupuisto) on top of the large open rock area at 14:00. After a few hours picnic (bring your own drinks) we will head for the restaurant Tomate Kiinanmuuri at 17:00. The restaurant has been changed due to Tomate not beeing open on thursday. Instead we eat at Kiinanmuuri on Sirkkalankatu 27.

You can either attend the picnic only, the restaurant dinner only, or both. Please advise us on your participation in advance so that we can make a reservation for the restaurant.

We will have a meeting on friday 24.4. at 19:30 at restaurant Red Hot Chilis, where we will enjoy an “after work buffet”. In addition to that, we will discuss the picnics and others events of next summer. Welcome!

We will spend a relaxing weekend at a woodheated cottage. The sauna will be heated at night. In addition to that, expect walking the nature trail, cooking a communal meal, playing board games and have good chats.

Queer Turku will go watching an interactive humoristic student musical, “blood test” on sunday 29.3 at 18:00. Place is Aurinkobaletti.  If you want to join, let me know so that we can book tickets. More information will be available at our next meeting. See you there.

We will arrange a trip to Baltic pride. We will leave Turku on thursday 14.5 at 4pm and return on sunday evening. In Riga we will see the beautiful old town and take part in the pride parade and parties and other programme. More detailed information will be sent to members and co-operation partners through email. Welcome.

Update 2009-04-11: There seems to be slight trouble with the event. Apparently some latvians, including the mayor of Riga, and some local cardinal have something against this “sinfull event”. We still hope that permission to organize this event is granted, and the event is properly safeguarded by the police. If all goes well, and we get a suitably large number of participants, and we feel that the trip can be safely done, then we will participate.

We will eat dinner at an ethnic restaurant on sunday 15.3 at 18:00. We will enjoy a delicious dinner and discuss coming events such as the cottage weekend and Riga pride. Further details have been emailed to all members.
